[edit] Template usage
I have put back the use of both the "calculus" template and the "mathematics" template. The reason is this: When someone is looking at the mathematics category page, they should be able to see, right before their eyes, all the pages. If there is some page that might interest them, it should be right there. They shouldn't have to go up into the subcategories section and click on all those things—they might not know what category to look under.
Of course, the broad subcategories (calculus, algebra, topology) should still be used. And the articles in those should, in general, be in mathematics also.
There are certainly exceptions to this, but it should only be for things that anyone would know is in an obscure subcategory. For example, if we ever got a Stone-Cech_compactification article (just kidding), I'd certainly want it relegated to some obscure place.

[edit] Same question, another article
I'm not sure why we have all these maths articles. Are they important? (I'm not suggesting deletion, I"d just like to see the author show why we need them).--
