This looks very nice! ħumanUser talk:Human 20:03, 7 March 2010 (UTC)

Based on the current rate of Toast's Susan's liveblogging, I predict that this list is going to get very big very quickly. Not that that's a bad thing. Tetronian you're clueless 20:04, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Kiss.gif Cheers each. It's not my personal property though - feel free to contribute. SusanG  ContribsTalk 20:08, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Definitely a good idea and worth expanding to other articles. AiG, WND and perhaps some of our articles on prominent YouTubers. Scarlet A.pngnarchist 21:11, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
This is a good idea. A bit like an intelligent RSS feed. --ConcernedresidentAsk me about your mother 22:09, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Intelligent? <Blushes> It also has the advantage of not disappearing with time. SusanG  ContribsTalk 22:19, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
That was my clause! Three internet bunnies to whoever gets that reference. ħumanUser talk:Human 01:52, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
I think we should keep this page for ScienceBlogs only, since doing so would create an excellent reference page to find information for articles. As such, I think it would be very, very useful in the long run. Then we could make separate pages for WND and/or YouTube so that they each get their own feed. That way the pages stay separated by authorial slant and don't get too long too quickly. Also, does anyone know how we could get the table to sort by category as well as date? Tetronian you're clueless 23:27, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
?It sorts on any column? I think That's what Armondikov meant (separate ones, that is). SusanG  ContribsTalk 23:37, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Oh, DUH. It does that already. I fail at observation skills :( Tetronian you're clueless 23:40, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Is there any way to get it to parse to an RSS feed on-wiki? I can write a script to do it locally, but seems like it would be neat to make an actual feed available... --MarkGall (talk) 23:58, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Probably, but the trouble is there's a load of crap on ScienceBlogs (not really crap but not Rother reference
or commentW Mission oriented). Even PZ has trivia that's a bit in-crowdy. SusanG  ContribsTalk 00:15, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Did I misunderstand you? Did you mean the article overleaf and not as I thought SB? SusanG  ContribsTalk 00:17, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry -- I'd be interested in just getting the stuff posted to this list, as it's updated, rather than all of SB. But I suppose paying attention here ought to have the same effect. --MarkGall (talk) 00:19, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Heh! you'll just have to bookmark it then (or play with wget I suppose) 00:27, 8 March 2010 (UTC) SusanG  ContribsTalk
Nice work, Susan! Although I was a bit confused by your date format - maybe scienceblogs will be a bit too much for me... DeltaStarSenior SysopSpeciationspeed! 13:52, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah,I don't like it but unless someone can tell me a better (hint, hint), it's the only way I can see to make it sortable. ScienceBlogs is fun (and informative) SusanG  ContribsTalk 14:18, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Wow![edit]

This page is awesome. Thanks a lot for putting this together, Susan! Tetronian you're clueless 03:01, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Hah! let's see if I have the OCD to keep it up before you splash thanks about. SusanG  ContribsTalk 03:07, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Even at your current liveblogging rate you are giving me far more interesting things to read than I normally would in the course of a day. *hat tip* Tetronian you're clueless 03:08, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
I like the Big Bang Series; I've never really understood "inflation" before (not that I do now, but I can dream) 03:12, 10 March 2010 (UTC) SusanG  ContribsTalk

Archiving[edit]

This page is growing rapidly! Would it be possible to put older entries in a show/hide box or an archive? I'd do it but I don't have the technical know-how. Also: Susan, I envy both the amount of free time you have on your hands and your dedication to this article. But mostly your free time. Tetronian you're clueless 02:21, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Do what you want with it, I'm not bothered any more. 04:23, 18 March 2010 (UTC) SusanGContribsTalk

Subpages in mainspace[edit]

There are none. So where to put this? Project space perhaps? ТyComplaints here 15:19, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Delete page[edit]

This page probably needs to be deleted. The articles do not appear to exist anywhere, anymore, and no one updated the actual list since 2010. Green mowse.pngGodot The ablity to breath is such an overrated ability 16:43, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

ScienceBlogs changed their software platform, so the format of the URLs has changed. The new ones probably can be recovered with little effort.
As for deletion, if "hasn't been updated since YEAR" was a deletion criterion, a lot of the wiki would get vaporized.--ZooGuard (talk) 16:56, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
my "hasn't been updated" was predicated on the fact that none of the links worked, and searching the site didn't seem to locate the 3 or 4 articles I found. but that's why I didn't delete till someoen "in the know" had a say. If we can find working links, fine by me to drop the delete issue.Green mowse.pngGodot The ablity to breath is such an overrated ability 17:04, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
OK, I found out that to update a link, you need to replace the underscores with dashes and remove the .php suffix.[1] The bad news is that this has to be done for all of the links. :( I'll try to think of a suitable regular expression to avoid doing it manually.--ZooGuard (talk) 17:10, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
