[edit] Mission relevance?

What the title says. In the current state of the article, it's unclear how it serves RationalWiki's mission. It's just an uncritical re-telling of Solomon's claims.

An article about Mark J. Solomon has been deleted from Wikipedia due to the lack of notability: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Mark_J._Solomon Given that the article author's only other contribution is an edit to Simulated reality about Solomon's book ([1]), the whole thing starts to smell of (self-)promotion.--ZooGuard (talk) 11:37, 31 October 2013 (UTC)

Indeed, all that needs to be said on this subject - and possibly more - is already included in Simulated_reality. Delete. Innocent Bystander (talk) 12:02, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
Is now redirect to Simulated_reality#On_Computer_Simulated_Universes which also seems overinflated. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 12:51, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure about his relevance there, either. According to the Wikipedia AFD entry, his only book is self-published. Does anybody read links any more? *grumble, grumble*--ZooGuard (talk) 13:31, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
But, but... he is also a wine dealer!!!!!! I just tucked a link to Vanity publishing into the target section, which was added by the same single-purpose account, as you've noted. Should that section also disappear? I wouldn't mind its loss, or drastic trimming. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 14:33, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
Never mind. I just cut the whole section. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 14:52, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
