Editorial notes
  • Effing Banana makes us look rather childish
  • Usage of extreme wingnuttery template also looks rather unprofessional

I hope she does run for President in 2012! If she gets the nomination, it'll give Obama time to focus on things that matter. Wehpudicabok 03:55, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

That and, unlike Pawlenty, nobody in MN outside of the 6th distric thinks she's anything more than a nutcase. The Goonie Punk Can't sleep, clowns will eat me! 03:58, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Over at WorldNutDaily some of the sad old men were getting excited (well after they took a pill) about the prospect of a Bachmann-Palin ticket. Making jokes about that would be way to easy. John Stewart must stay up a night praying for that.- π 03:59, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Oh, if there is a God, I hope so! That's be comedic gold! The Spikey Punk I'm punking my punk! 04:00, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
My prediction for that would be Obama-??:535, Bachmann-Palin:3; I reckon they would still carry Alaska. - π 04:06, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
You have to give the benefit of the doubt here: they would probably still carry Texas, too.AnarchoGoon Swatting Assflys is how I earn my living 04:09, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
In truth, without a very influential southern running mate, Obama wouldn't carry the south. - π 04:13, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] The funny thing about Bachmann's district is

That it is the only district in the state that's that loony. Granted, it's not the only Republican district, but it is the only one that elects Republicans that are that psycho. I remember about 8 years ago, one of the state districts within her Congressional district elected a state House rep named Arlon Lindner who denied that homosexuals were persecuted by the Nazis. He was so nutty that even the state Republicans party didn't want anything to do with him. Bachmann, I would argue, is only a few clicks away from that. She is the only Minnesota Republican in Congress who, for example, denies climate change, something even Tim Pawlenty has acknowledged is real. Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping! 04:30, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Obama "worst president in US history"

Bachmann's latest lunacy. She appeared on something called the Ben Shapiro Show, described Obama as worse than Jimmy Carter and agreed when Shapiro described him as the worst president ever.

I have to say, I envy you Americans your batty politicians. They're so delightfully cuckoo. Ours are just as crazy but nowhere near as amusing. Ebon (talk) 08:10, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

A PARODY OF HERSELF

She's a good example of someone who sometimes sounds so nutty that one would be excused for thinking of her as a parodist's creation. Alloco1 (talk) 17:33, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

More recently, she came out in agreement with whoeverthefuck that one Republican was that fining BP $20 billion for this oil disaster is "a government shakedown of business." Whil;e the other guy apologized, Bachmann is sticking to her guns. Lord Goonie Hooray! I'm helping! 03:33, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Silver?

I'd argue this article, while short, is certainly silver-worthy. The Goonie 1 What's this button do? Uh oh.... 03:30, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Don't argue, be nice post. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:44, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit] CZ article

Perhaps you might find some interest in the CZ article. Honestly, no snark, just straight reporting. Deliberate snark seems superfluous. Howard C. Berkowitz (talk) 05:51, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Somebody might want to tell that page's editors that they really should try to distinguish themselves from that pitiful little rag that for some reason is still called a student "newspaper," specifically by knowing the difference between neighborhoods of Minneapolis and provincial towns on St. Paul's side of the river. Ha. Though that would be nightmarish if that combination won. ТyTalk. 03:49, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Bachmann reads von Mises

Apparently Ludwig von Mises is on her beach reading list. Anyone buy that? Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 00:53, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks to you and your unkind remarks about the Austrian school, I now have another reason to fear the time she reaches national executive power. Sprocket J Cogswell (talk) 16:31, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

stupidthingsmichelebachmannhassaid.com sounds like a good name.

[edit] Andrew Jackson and slaves

I don't think Andrew Jackson can be considered a Founding Father, certainly not a framer of the Constitution. As such I don't think he's a very good example of a pro-slavery Founding Father. Abadidea (talk) 06:55, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit] President

Just think! Michele Bachmann could become president with Marcus as first lady first gentleman. AAAhhh!!! Proxima Centauri (talk) 06:07, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Shut the fuck up, PC. Yes, I know you know I don't like your contributions, but there is a reason for that. So, anyway, this article has a lot of really lame writing and awful references. Please can we do better? ħumanUser talk:Human 08:36, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit] She's a cunt

Can I call her that? Scherben 18:31, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, no you can't. Cunt's are beautiful. One in particular is a source of never ending joy to me and Mrs Soles and I like nothing better than worshipping it as it deserves. There is simply no comparison. Bob Soles (talk) 19:38, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Marcus' Closet

I'm not sure how comfortable I am in speculating about another man's sexuality. The "fact tag" was oddly placed...what, exactly, is being challenged by the tag? Is Marcus a closeted homosexual person? Or that some people have suggested this to be the case. 21:43, 3 October 2011 (UTC) C®ackeЯ

We are not speculating. this is a very very common assumption and worth stating as such. I put a fact tag there, cause we should pull the quotes from Kos, as well as Huffington that do the actual speculation. but it is news that real people, in real positions of "media power" whatever that means, are out there guessing about his sexuality.Pink mowse.pngGodotThe Peyote God awaits 00:42, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Anoka / Minnesota Legislation

Perhaps I'm being driven by my hatred of Bachmann here, but I had a search on RW for anything regarding her and this Rolling Stone article, one of the few things that upsets me every time I read it, because so few seem to be aware of the connection between Bachmann and the suicides.

An RW search of Anoka brought me solely to the Parents Action League article, which gave some note on the legislation, but makes no mention of Bachmann's part in it.

Might I suggest this be given a brief mention, linked with the PAL article, and cited via the RS article? I don't feel comfortable with making an addition without another's input, but to me, whenever I read this, it makes me think of blood on Bachmann's hands. Irrational? Maybe so. But whatever. I'll leave it to people smarter than I for the time being. --Polite Timesplitter (talk) 15:21, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Go ahead and write it, if you think it's noteworthy. Theory of Practice "Trampoline" is an Olympic sport now? 15:48, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit] According to...

...The Onion Bachmann, wants homosexuals decapitated, Muslims hanged, and (non)creationists dead. As with the Homo part, I'm homo, with the non-creationist part, well, bad luck for us all.--Thrinaxodon (talk) 18:41, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
