Apparently it's not the only one to sucker in a few gullible prats. This one was an admitted fake of a third person accidentally wandering into the shot and features a few quotes of those falling for it. I mean it must be real because that opening section has that old-style dust and scratches that all old films have! ADK...I'll scratch your aerodynamics! 20:52, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

What the fuck. how fucking gullible do you have to be to NOT get that this is a JOKE???? I mean snoops.com had to put out an article on it, so it's not just one or two people who said "oh, see, this proves it". my bloody god.--Pink mowse.pngGodot Warning, chocolate will make your clothes shrink 21:36, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
Actually the Moon is fake, too. It's really an NSA spy satellite. --79.50.119.147 (talk) 21:58, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
This is why I asked a while ago if there's a specific word for accepting piss-poor evidence just because it agrees with you. I mean, you could call it "terminal gullibility", sure, but I'm thinking more like confirmation bias. Except it's not really confirmation bias because that's about what information you seek and what tests you perform (you bias your search to confirm your prejudices) while this is, well, it really is best termed as "terminal gullibility". Like people who thought this image was proof that evil CIA agents were harming sentient extraterrestrial life. ADK...I'll calcify your pillow! 08:39, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

moontruth.com move to moontruth?[edit]

I heard there were problems when a (dot) is in the title. Nullahnung (talk) 19:39, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

It's not an intrinsic problem, just temporary hiccups with RW's instance of MW.--ZooGuard (talk) 08:07, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
