Merge?[edit]

It's a bit less stubby now, but maybe this article should be merged with the one on humanism in general. It's an important concept, and we could have a more detailed article that details the history of humanism and gives some information about the distinctions between classical humanism as an educational ideal and the modern philosophical concepts, both the secular and religious variants. Merging it would be a good idea indeed, after all, secular humanism is simply a subset of humanism in general. Lichy (talk) 14:37, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

Caps[edit]

I disagree, secular humanism need not be capitalized. Just like rationalism or empiricism aren't. ħumanUser talk:Human 03:58, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
