Talk:Segregation
From RationalWiki
[edit] BoN feedback
I think the France entry is a bit misleading, because 'banlieux' are the product of racism and growing poverty, but have little to do with segregation. I feel that it take a very real phenomen (french racism), but misinterpret it, but I am unwilling to delete it entirely, because it have some truth. And I don't have a lot of idea to improve it.
If anything, all the shenanigans with islamic veil and prayer in the street exist because arabs aren't physically segregated from the rest of the french.
(that being said, gypsy are pretty close to be institutionaly segregated from what I have seen) — Unsigned, by: 82.227.12.65 / talk / contribs
