Talk:Stanley Kubrick
From RationalWiki
No, I don't believe that Kubrick faked the moon landings, but if you can't see that the carpet Danny plays on with his toy truck perfectly depicts the Apollo launch pad, you're just an asshole contrarian. Kubrick spent eons working on the most subtle visual details in his films. Every single frame has a deeper meaning and is clearly informed by the director. Call it art or an inside joke, but it is not a coincidence that Danny played with a perfect model of the launch pad before standing up to "launch" his Apollo 11 sweater. That was fully intended by Kubrick.— Unsigned, by: 162.156.9.246 / talk / contribs 05:42, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
