I think[edit]

I think it would be better to put what is actually known about it first, before the crank versions, because of a few known psychological effects about debunking. It would be also nice to find a better source than the HuffPo - either a link to the original research, or a more reputable source discussing the research.--ZooGuard (talk) 13:16, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

Do you think there's room for more general info about toxoplasmosis at the top? Transmission, treatment, groups at risk, etc? Helen 15:44, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
I think the article should start with just general outline of what it is (something about transmission can go there) and its real/documented effects - first "what it does" before "what it doesn't". :) Further detail should be somewhere in the body of the article. I don't think I have special preferences where.--ZooGuard (talk) 16:12, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
Is this better? Helen 16:59, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

Inverse correlation[edit]

I wonder why nobody mentions the strongest argument against the crank theory -- that the correlation between political correctness and Toxoplasma is opposite of what the theory needs: countries and places with better hygiene tend to have less Toxoplasma prevalence and more political correctness. (but hey, why bother with this when you can talk about how clever you are and how dumb are these people I disagree with). Alliumnsk (talk) 12:36, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
