Use of foreign languages[edit]

"Revanche" and "Rache" are "Revenge" in French and German respectively. Is this too much of a flourish? --TheLateGatsby (talk) 21:27, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Mission?[edit]

I don't see much on-mission here, nor much that isn;t in every ninth-grade history text. PowderSmokeAndLeather: Say something once, why say it again?.Moderator 01:28, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

It exists so it can be easily referenced from Neo-Nazi conspiracy theories, I assume, primarily the stab-in-the-back legend. Kimberly (talk) 01:36, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
I get that. I don't like it, but I get it. Fact is, we will probably never have an article on the topic 10% as good as Wikipedia's. PowderSmokeAndLeather: Say something once, why say it again?.Moderator 02:00, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
I think we can delete this one. Probably the only reason that we should have an article on an only indirectly mission-related subject is if Wikipedia's NPOV requires them to be all circumspect and cautious and balanced about making some point, while we can be more direct and use snark and slightly more impolite language. I did a lot of work on this, just nuke it and slap the relevant bits onto WWII. --TheLateGatsby (The end of the dock ) 04:35, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

So, what's the consensus?[edit]

It would be really nice if someone merged this into the relevant article, whether it's stab-in-the-back legend or WWII, or reframed this into something else. ("Nazi justifications for the start of WWII" or something.)--ZooGuard (talk) 19:05, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
