How is warm reading (at least as described in the current article) different from cold reading? The examples given on this page work because they are suitably vague and fairly universal - like the "Barnum effect" described on the cold reading page - not because of any particular knowledge about the client. ₩€₳$€£ΘĪÐ

- Does the article not make it clear? If you know a couple things about your client(like, say, that they have cancer, one of the examples) you can seriously up your cold-reading game, without necessarily having the thorough preparation that a hot reading entails.
