Pashley appears to be human, and has been active for long enough that it seems dubious that they would have come here just to advertise. Just an offmission article--"Shut up, Brx." 04:29, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
Is it off-mission? I would think developments related to avertising and exploitation in wikis were on-topic. Granted, the question of marketing-driven subversion of a site is complex and less obviously relevant here than lunacy-driven subversion, I'd still argue it is significant. Doesn't seem to be on mission to me. There have been several commercial take-overs of wikis before today and this doesn't seem any different. rpeh •TCE 08:20, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
Agreed. That kind of thing happens every other day. There's nothing to see here. Delete.--Spud (talk) 04:48, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
The phenomenon itself is worth a mention at Wiki, though. SophieWilder 09:41, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
