Introduction

Before using this template, it is highly recommended that you enable the HotArticleRate gadget in your preferences.

Usage

{{rated
|1 =
|2 =
|3 =
|5 =
}}
  1. Rating:
    0 (significantly problematic)
    1 (unrated [default])
    2 (bronze)
    3 (silver)
    4 (gold)
  2. Category: No value defaults to "uncategorised", though no such category actually exists.
  3. Icon: Filename for the category icon. No value defaults to "Icon category.svg", or File:Steelbrain.png if no category has been specified.
    If "Icon category.svg" doesn't exist, consider making a redirect to an appropriate icon in Category:Portal icons instead of using this parameter
  4. (deprecated)
  5. Comments: Some editorial comments on what would improve the article. If the rating is "significantly problematic," this changes to why the article is in need of help.
    1. Use instances of {{Rated/problem}} in this field if the rating is "significantly problematic." The gadget automatically adds the templates corresponding to the problem categories already attached to the article for you, but if there's something else you can add it like this: * {{Rated/problem|It's just really fucked up, guys|March 2011}}

Example

{{Rated
|1 = 3
