Why does this exist?[edit]

See the title. Template:Ufology seems like it's perfectly fine instead of this template. Not doing anything myself (without approval), but just bringing it to our collective attention. The Heidelberg Kid (talk) 22:34, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Ancient Aliens is a subset of ufology, but a quite distinct one, so it has that bit of purpose. SophieWilder 22:39, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
Actually, more of a subset of pseudoarcheology, together with pyramidiocy, Atlantis, etc. Ufology proper deals with UFO sightings, though on this wiki any belief in alien visitation stuff gets lumped with it. To put it in another way, it's a different genre of fiction. ;)
The category and the template exist not only to separate the existing articles on the topic, but also because at least one user (me) intends to write more articles about it. Any problem with that?--ZooGuard (talk) 11:25, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
Not from me, my only problem with the template is the shortage of article to go with it, so fire away. SophieWilder 11:30, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

Fuzzy...[edit]

...you are a fucking piece of trash.--ZooGuard (talk) 09:43, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

If you care, it was because [1] Category:Ancient aliens had only 17 entries, merely 5 more than the 12 entries that DPL lists and [2] {{pseudohistorynav}} needed an icon and had a much larger main category. Further, {{ufology}}'s lower section "... and ran away" maintains the ancient aliens DPL with 6 entries. FᴜᴢᴢʏCᴀᴛPᴏᴛᴀᴛᴏ, Esϙᴜɪʀᴇ (talk/stalk) 13:48, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
