Needs[edit]

Needs these before being good enough for use:

  • better top tagline
  • background images of rainbows (very faded, not garish) rather than blocks of solid colour - this requires referencing an image by its name in our repo (the unicorn pic is on Wikimedia Commons)
  • more stuff for the key concepts

- David Gerard (talk) 14:49, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

OK. It's not possible to set background-image in MediaWiki syntax, the sanitiser removes it (unless you make the wiki open to arbitrary image includes, which is almost always bad). Anyone else up to making this shinier?
OK, I think I've got the unremitting horror going now - David Gerard (talk) 22:33, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Oh now that says New Age all over it. You've even put it in Papyrus... I think I'm going to vomit... Scarlet A.pngmoral 10:28, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
I blame the loved one, who frequently tells me "there's nothing you can do that I can't make worse." She suggested Papyrus for the font and the wake of stars from the dolphin's fins - David Gerard (talk) 12:19, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Tag at the top[edit]

I liked "unifying principle" better, actually. It's such a dead-on parody of every new age text ever. "Dolphins and money" doesn't quite have the same punch, in my opinion. Wehpudicabok (talk) 04:30, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Navbar[edit]

Thing is, while I like the icon, I really like Röstigraben's icon, I intentionally left this out of my spree in order to keep the use of papyrus as the font. It's not a big deal to put an override into the master template, but it seemed a little pointless just for this one thing. ADK...I'll loll your memo! 18:58, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

I've reverted it to David's version while keeping the icon and the all-violet backdrop. The old design wasn't too different from the cookie-cutter navbars, so it'll still look consistent. Röstigraben (talk) 20:04, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
