Actually, I think I'm not. But whatever.

Wrong thread...

Oh, joyous. Your talk page messages are coming up as new messages to me

sterilesporadic heavy hitter04:25, 7 January 2013

That's because you put my talk page on your watchlist, and LiquidThreads puts all of the threads from the pages you're watching in Special:NewMessages.

Picon small.pngLiquid Blue04:29, 7 January 2013

God I hate liquid threads.

sterilesporadic heavy hitter04:31, 7 January 2013

You can just unwatch my talk page if you don't want to deal with LQT at all...

Picon small.pngLiquid Blue04:34, 7 January 2013

Why do people use the watchlist? WP, yes, it gets enough edits/day but we don't.

Nobodydon't bother04:35, 7 January 2013

I use it for the RC bolding, because if things on RC weren't selectively bolded I'd have no idea how to navigate the site.

O_o Set to 500+, filter via js pages/people you don't care about. I can see the past 5 hours, add nav popups to leisure.

I'd say this wiki gets plenty of edits. Sure, not as many as Wikipedia, but still enough for the first 12 hours to be obscured by the second. I suppose it depends on how many changes you want RC to show. The watchlist is not just useful for the day's edits, too. If you're gone for a week, it's better to check your watchlist than it is to load recent changes over and again to check up on your articles. As to putting a user talk page on your watchlist, well, that's a little weird.

I figured that out, believe or not. And ignored the thread. Good day.

You're an alternate, though. I'm sure someone will quit.
