I took some "physical anthro" classes back in college. It was snooty U of C's way of saying "archaeology" out loud without admitting they were sending people out to some oasis in Western Egypt to dig around for pot shards. What is physical anthro/forensics in this context?

From what I've seen, physical anthro is more or less human biology, dealing mostly with the evolution of humans and early hominids, medical science, environmental and dietary effects on the body, etc.
