Autosign bot

What I am doing is letting it run for as long as possible to get bugs worked out - things like LX moving his post one line, Markedc's incorrect signature, page redirect exceptions, etc.

I used some of your code (specifically the comrephendDiff function and various regex tests), but as an exercise I wrote a mostly new script. It has worked 80-85% of the time so far, the failures being on signing too zealously, not on failing to see unsigned comments. I can send you the program if you'd like, though I'd want to clean it up first.

Don't take my comment seriously, my code probably would've done the same thing... it would probably be a good idea to exclude anything that's ^<[^>]*> $

Anyway, how does it handle edit conflicts?

It should just go back and reevaluate the page, though it hasn't happened yet so this has yet to be tested.

make the bot wait for a keystroke before saving, edit the page... that's what I did.

Ah, great idea. And I'm unsure about exempting templates, I'm personally of the belief that things like {{DFTT}} and {{Red}} ought to be signed.
