Mark Antony

Why did you resysop him? He is clearly just here to cause trouble. Virtually all his edits have been trolling, and he admitted as much in this edit here [1] . I cannot imagine how you think that he falls into the "mostly harmless" category.

He did not abuse his sysop powers (unlike the user who blocked him), so there was no reason to desysop him.

I note that you originally sysopped him after 7 edits and 4 hours. Those edits included an insult to Human for no apparent reason, the formation of a political party (on his second edit no less), another gratuitous insult of Human and yet another attack on Humans integrity. My question to you is:Why on earth did you demote such an obvious troll in the first place?

DamoHi08:57, 23 May 2011

None of those is an abuse of sysop powers. Mark Antony is a tactless and foul, yet honest and just, critic.

Nonsense. Why don't you answer my question? Which of those 7 edits convinced you that he was "mostly harmless" and a good candidate for sysop? You demoted him when you should not have, he then made several edit wars with Human, many more insults, declared he was a troll - and you are saying P-foster was wrong to desysop him. Get real.

"A sysop can only be "promoted" back down to regular editor status if they request it, or if they are causing trouble through serious vandalism, troll behaviour, or abuse of sysop abilities such as blocking. Complaints of this kind should be raised at the Administrative Abuse page, and the decision to "promote" the sysop should only be reached after a full discussion."
