Campaign!

G'day, fellow RationalWikians! Don't forget to visit the Campaign page of the 2016 Board of trustees election in order to make your voice heard. Suggested activities include:

  • Endorsing select candidates (lending a hand to your loyal henchmen and/or glorious overlords!)
  • Anti-endorsing select candidates (character-assassinating your hated opponents!)
  • Providing moar goat (please wipe afterwards)
  • Just asking questions to the candidates

Your participation might help other users better direct their votes. More importantly, it'll show the world that we've yet to go full Citizendium in terms of election hype!

P.J. O'Rourke didn't stop being a leftie because he got a job and a haircut. He stopped being a leftie because he's an asshole. (Man, that "evils of collectivism... creating... public-school" line still repulses me on so many levels.)

And don't compare yourself to him; you're funnier than he is.

Who's O'Rourke?

Also, I have a feeling that this isn't going to be a great term for the National government. But if this is anything to go by that's not going to be for good reasons.

PJ O'Rourke is (supposed left-wing activism from his teen years aside) a lifelong libertarian (not event the good kind). He used to write genuinely funny political satires, but now he just regurgitates right-wing talking points in the Weekly Standard.

Yeah, I meant Parliament of Whores O'Rourke not Weekly Standard O'Rourke.
