how do you create a vector page though?

so how do i make it work then?

il'Dictator Mikal02:28, 11 April 2012

Currently you have most of it commented out, but remove the commenting thing around the brx one and ctrl+F5 on the recent changes page. All of his edits should vanish, or at least most of them. It is an arcane magic, and not a science.

Peter tanquam ex ungue leonem02:31, 11 April 2012

do i have to be using the vectorskin?

il'Dictator Mikal02:32, 11 April 2012

...yes, yes you do. Are you?

Peter tanquam ex ungue leonem02:33, 11 April 2012

nope; and only just now remembered thats what the default skin is

il'Dictator Mikal02:36, 11 April 2012

There's a 'monobook.js' file as well etc, but that will have an even lower chance of working properly with this.

You're moving the */ marker up a bit.

Peter tanquam ex ungue leonem02:38, 11 April 2012

but i like how this looks >>

il'Dictator Mikal02:56, 11 April 2012

You've got a nice, smooth firefox browser, and yet you like that skin? It's rather blocky.

And hurry up and read your 390 new messages...

Peter tanquam ex ungue leonem02:58, 11 April 2012

to lazy. and i like it for the links along the top, if i wasnt lazy id make a stylish skin so it could be whatever i wanted it to look like

il'Dictator Mikal03:00, 11 April 2012

you know, theres another benefit as well

because most of the pages re built around a vector based layout, those images that block the logo are behind it :D

il'Dictator Mikal05:12, 15 April 2012

Cunning...

What about the funspace logo though?

Peter tanquam ex ungue leonem05:14, 15 April 2012

it works as normal. the change only seems to effect image overlays

wait, what am i removing near brx? its been a while since i actually LOOKED at any java code or messed with it

il'Dictator Mikal02:36, 11 April 2012

And it's javascript, not java - there is apparently a difference. I know neither language anyway.

Peter tanquam ex ungue leonem02:38, 11 April 2012

i know theres a difference but context means most people know anyways

il'Dictator Mikal02:41, 11 April 2012

How do I alter my vector file to make it so that all I see of Brxbrx on RC are block and remove rights buttons?

Nutty Roux100x100 anarchy symbol.svg15:31, 29 May 2012

that might be more complex then this software can do

il'Dictator Mikal16:19, 29 May 2012

If we're talking 'possibilities,' it should be possible to make it automatically rollback, block and promote brx on the loading of RC. But I don't quite know how to do that.

Peter with added ‼Science‼00:42, 30 May 2012

It would be trivial to add a 'promote' button where it says 'talk | contribs | block'. A little more complex to make all of the links in a line to going to either blocking or removing rights. And a bit more complicated than that to replace the entire line with 'Block brx | Promote brx'. But still theoretically possible.

Peter with added ‼Science‼00:45, 30 May 2012

Why not further streamline the process for him and and create an extension that simultaneously removes my rights and blocks me infinitely?

"Shut up, Brx."00:55, 30 May 2012

I can do that manually, but it doesn't stick because, unlike me, these people haven't grown so tired of smelling the stench around your presence that they're willing to compromise their senses of fairness and make a single exception to banish worthless scum like you. Count your blessings. I'll try again, though. Thanks.

Nutty Roux100x100 anarchy symbol.svg01:15, 30 May 2012

i'm ok with it happening, i just dont wanna deal with the fight, nor do i have the weight you do

il'Dictator Mikal02:18, 30 May 2012

That's what I told Mikalos could be done. It's just that I'm not that good at javascript.
