Bibleman!

Jump to: navigation, search

So, I was looking through a cabinet that has all our remaining VHS's and among what i found was This. So, was yours the vaguely actiony thing I saw (From what i remember, the plot was biblemans... sidekick...? got turned prideful and was all resentful and assholeish.) or was it like this bibleman?.

Store bought light sabers, a few lame villains like slacker and Dr. Snort n Scoff.

Terrible. Amongst the other things I Found were "The greatest Adventure: The Miracles of Jesus", "Left Behind Where'd everybody go?", "GO, GO JONAH", "The Easter Storykeepers", "The Greatest Adventure Stories from the Bible: Queen Esther" and "TGASftB: Samson and Delilah" alongside 3 TMNT episodes, the movie, A New hope special edition an a power rangers episode.

Veggie Tales.

my currentish church doesnt show them (Afaik) at all, and my previous one only showed it to non school age kids if i remember. That place probably did wonders to my not caring about public religion and how i got to where i am now.

I first saw them when we were attending a Presbyterian church. We later acquired some of them on VHS.

I really do miss VHS's. Wonder if any of this crap is worth anything. I also think the easter one is the video i lost as a kid from my old church.

Try and see if you can transfer the home videos, VHS decays over time. My copy of Jurassic Park is wonky and my copy of Mechagozilla is little more than static.

-looks at my Dazzle- thats what this thing is actually meant to be used for, so so long as the videos still work at all, i can easily do that, easier then trying to actually do what i bought the thing for -.- also the copy of JP i found (we have two apparently) worked when i last watched it about... a year and a half ago.

Mikal Harass Follow02:10, 2 August 2012

My copy of JP is older than several editors here.

I'm a month older then Jurassic park, this does nothing but remind me that i'm nearly 20 and a otaku goon. -.- I probably should convert a bunch of these. Speaking of Godzilla, i own godzilla 2000 and I watched that as a kid having first seen the american godzilla and had absolutely no idea what was going on the entire time because of this

Mikal Harass Follow02:28, 2 August 2012

I've about 1/2 the Japanese ones. I watched the American one only for snark bait. Actually, all but one of the movies at my apartment are snark bait. And there are a good 200+ here.

I've seen the original japanese before. it was kinda boring, but we also never really made it to Godzilla before having to leave.

IMHO the series didn't "grow the beard" until Godzilla v. Mothra.

I honestly dont even remember which ones ive seen anymore. i always liked the one with the three headed dragon thing

He's a recurring hero/villain. Depends on the movie.

i know he has a mecha version to, which was the final boss to some godzilla GBA game i had. playing that game probably introduced me to most of the other godzilla monsters around.

Yeah. I had a toy of that one.
