Dooonesbury
Dooonesbury
I assume you're following this week's strips
Yup. havn't seen today's yet.
Is Donesbury some new comic strip, then?
No, it started in teh 80's i think. But this week he's doing an entire week an a girl going into a texas abortion clinic. it's pretty harsh criticism of the whole "you need counseling, ultrasound and a waiting period" crap that defines the right wing approach to abortion control.
Doonesbury's been around for forty years at this point, but it's still cutting-edge and amazing.
The cartoons this week are both incisive and goddamn hilarious.
Speeling was never my (or WfG's) strongest point
what is the opposite of "strongest suit"; weakest PJ's? :-)
i know, i know, different kind of suit.
if it were not for the red squiggles, i'd not spell anything right.
See, the liberal spellcheck is making people lazy and not able to spell anything by themselves. You're all a victim of perverse homosexual lobby weakening the linguistic fiber of our country to make them dependent on government-controller software companies.
That's probably true. :-) other than "nite", i don't tend to use non standard - but I'm just waiting for the first kid who grew up texting, to start writing legal briefs and sneek the odd "texto" (not sure the english term for it) into his or her pleading.
I think I nearly wrote 'tmrw' in a history assignment recently (but I couldn't resist mentioning "Schlafly Statistics").
