Sounds a bit...I dunno REDSREDSREDSREDSREDSREDS!!!!!! to me.
There is a limit, however. when I had just graduated from undergrad, i had my first "job job", outside of academics. this was late 80s and the 'in thing' was to "empower" employees. so they involved "employees" in *every f'ing decision made around the company*. we had to be on at least 3 different committees, to make sure our team (technical writers and research at your servies) was appropriately represented. we had meetings on the budget (as if we understood that), and on the new building design, and on ways to improve employee accountability and and and adn and....
I truly loath meetings.
