Last e-mail thread's getting too big
Great moments in wtfery: some guy melts a candy bar on his motherboard, asks us to fix it.
IT guys walk into an office to tell people that there was a server crash and if they want to keep on working they'll have to restart their computers. Half the office just hit the off-button on their monitors...
...wait how the fuck do you melt... never mind. It's like the "why is there a miniature brass sculpture of Napoleon stuck in your arse".
Pre fan cpu's. We worked at a high school, one day the boss had enough and had all the 486's around the school confiscated and destroyed. This was in 2007.
c2000, i had a part time job doing "test" of software. we were in a section beside the complaint and help desk.
The single biggest complaint was AOL users. The did not know what a "link" was, or what clicking was, or how to cut and paste, so teh line "AOL users will want to cut and paste the link below and paste it into the address bar of the browser" meant nothing to them.
"How to i get to the site?"
I hope to god AOL is gone.
