Ok, the Colbert Report has begun. The Declaration of Independence was authored by Thomas Tax Cut in the opener.

Colbert talking about the Fed. "Extraconstitutional starchamber" is one way to describe it.

Senator Bernie Sanders is the first interview. His opposition to corporatism right after these messages from our sponsors.

Everyone who thought Sanders would be the main guest, and Andy would be second banana can now officially suck it.

I love Bach's Cello Suite 1 Prelude, don't you? It's just a shame it has to be used in an AMEX commecial. I suppose I should start dating these... 04:42, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Cartman dressed as Hitler will never not be funny. 04:43, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Bernie Sanders describing Democratic Socialism. It's a shame that noone who could benefit from such an explanation will be watching it. 04:44, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Egalitarianism demands that so few cannot have so much at the expense of so many. Plus, Colbert said "Invisible Hand." Drink! 04:45, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

"Bernanke saved us!" "Bernanke saved... Yeah, right." LAWL 04:46, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Who better to solve the problem than the people who caused the problem? Ok, this Sanders interview is starting to drag. Let's get to Andy already. 04:47, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Nice Ben and Jerry jokes. 04:47, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

"I will not be out fore-fathered by you" and "If we end up with a Scandanavian model, can you promise me I won't have to eat pickled herring?" Win. 04:49, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Last commerical break. Andy's coming soon. 04:49, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm waiting with bated breath, and I suddenly want an inversion therapy table. 04:50, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Here we go, bitches. 04:51, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Stephen thanks Andy for taking the internet back for Conservatives. Andy laughs creepily. 04:52, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Andy's talking about the classes he offers. Hundreds of teenagers, top colleges. 140 million pageviews. Concise, no gossip, no liberal bias. 04:53, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Abortion causes breast cancer! Drink, you fuckers! 04:53, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Stephen's read Conservapedia. Oh shit. 04:55, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Not all the answers are in the Bible, per Andy. 04:55, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

The best of the public can participate in the translation. Stephen points out that the best of the public is clearly based on Andy's definition. 04:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Who determines what's real in your world? 04:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Who are these experts? There are no experts. 04:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Politely removed from the site. Ha! 05:00, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

To whom does it become clear, and who decides when it's clear?

Jesus uses economic parables, free market parables.

RW is crawling.

People who don't make money go to hell.

Post mortem[edit]

Well, Andy comes out looking like he has a sense of humor, but we know he's going home fuming and cursing at Colbert. Stephen did nail him on the point that Andy's in no position to claim any legitimacy for his Bible project because they have no experts, and Andy explicitly rejected the concept of expertise. I know we would have loved a total smackdown, but given the average person has no idea was CP is, in jokes wouldn't have played in Peoria. Stile4aly (talk) 05:05, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
