- Thank you for your tidy up of the Christianity article. However, RationalWiki is an international community and we tolerate both British and American spellings so it is regarded as antagonistic to arbitrarily change British to American (or vice versa) as you did with 'worshipper'. The convention here is to comply with the original poster's usage unless the topic is specific to either the US or UK.

[edit] My edits
Hi Genghis,
I share your concern re American/British English and my edits were partly an attempt at maintaining consistency. For example, I encountered both "worshiped" and "worshipper". As the page appeared to conform to US spelling, grammar, usage and punctuation, I ensured that the last was correct, e.g. by ensuring that commas and periods appeared before not after closing inverted commas. — Unsigned, by: JenOBrien / talk / contribs
- Jen, just a few points on etiquette. First of all, please respond to comments where they are made, otherwise we end up with wiki ping-pong. Second, if you need to communicate with someone please use their 'talk' page rather than their 'user' page. Third, please sign your talk-page contributions with four tildes (~~~~). Now, OK, I concede your point on the pre-existing spellings, I mistakenly read both "worshiped" and "worshiper" as being your corrections; unfortunately, previous editors had not adhered to convention although it does become more difficult as the page size increases. However, the inconsistency of American spelling on this issue does perplex me as normally in the US you would write 'ship' and 'shipper', or 'snip' and 'snipper' (because a 'sniper' is something else entirely).

Hi Genghis, do please excuse my lack of etiquette. Put it down to my newness here, and the fact that I seldom read manuals and FAQ. My bad :)
I'll try harder in future because I believe Rational Wiki has a great future.
Yes, American spelling can be odd. I work with both US and British English so have grown sort of inured to the vagaries of both flavo(u)rs.
All the best,
