[edit] one way speed of light
I would like to propose a simple way of synchronizing the clocks and measuring one way speed of light: Let's position two clocks A and B at a distance d from each other. The distance d should be known (measured )to a high accuracy. If we send the signal from A to B we can synchronize both clocks with initial assumption that the speed of light is c in both directions.(we will establish that time at A at the moment the signal was sent should be the same as time at B minus the time it takes the photon to travel from A to B with the speed of c ).Now we should send another signal from A to B at arbitrary time t1. If the speed of light is the same in both direction, the signal should arrive at B at t1+c/d. If it is not the case, we can easily calculate the speed of light in either direction.
