[edit] About leaving
While you're certainly welcome to come and go as you please, I feel that you haven't given us a fair chance. We are quite willing to address and consider differing points of view -- so long as those points of view are willing to engage in the same skeptical examination standard that we apply against what we talk about. If you have evidence or supporting material that can demonstrate that one of our articles is wrong, or at the very least that there is a valid point to another side of the debate, we would be glad to see it. We have a lot of cranks that show up, get offended, raise a stink, and then vanish into the ether (as you might imagine, we make enemies fairly often due to our mission), so we tend not to give dissenting voices a lot of credibility unless they're willing to back up their words with some degree of proof. We have a bias, and that bias is towards rationality and the scientific method, but that applies to everything, not just a given editor's pet hates. However, we get accused of that a lot, typically by people who have a strong attachment to one or more concepts/beliefs that we write about. Please reconsider your decision, at least? Thank you, and welcome again to RW. Ochotonaprincepsnot a pokémon 22:10, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- He's not even talking about differing points of view. He's talking about tone and letting the article actually explain someone else's position. Otherwise it's paper tigers. Ghostface Editah (talk) 22:13, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
