Are you Jewish?  Lily Inspirate me.

I believe that Traditional Orthodox Judaism is the true religion. I am not halachically Jewish but am of Jewish descent (my paternal grandfather was Jewish but my other ancestors are Gentile). But I am studying for Orthodox conversion. TruePhilosemite (talk) 12:57, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
I was just wondering what your aims were in coming to RW.  Lily Inspirate me. 13:02, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
I want to spread awareness across the Internet that Judaism and Zionism are incompatible. Zionism is a form of anti-Semitism. Hitler killed the bodies of Jews, but Zionists are trying to kill their souls. If you would like more explanation, please read the website True Torah Jews Against Zionism. TruePhilosemite (talk) 13:07, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
How does that contribute to this wiki's mission? MDB (the MD is for Maryland, the B is for Bear) 13:21, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Do you want to know the truth? Or do you want to continue to believe the anti-Semitic fairytales of the Zionists? TruePhilosemite (talk) 13:22, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
I don't see that those are at odds with each other. Do you recognize that your views are rejected by nearly all historians? Hipocrite (talk) 13:27, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Tell me, what historical disproof is there of the essential claims of the Satmar position? There is none! Zionism is based on anti-Semitism, and was from the very beginning. As Theodore Herzl himself said "Anti-Semites will become our surest friends, anti-Semitic countries our allies." True Torah Jews Against Zionism, Zionism Promotes Anti-Semitism. Is there any doubt that he said this? Find me the historian who says that he didn't! TruePhilosemite (talk) 13:32, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
For confirmation that Theodore Herzl in fact said this, please see page 84 of The complete diaries of Theodor Herzl, Volume 1, published by Herzl Press and Thomas Yoseloff, 1960. TruePhilosemite (talk) 13:36, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Historical quote mining is not relevant to your argument, which is that "Judaism and Zionism are incompatible." This is not true. Hipocrite (talk) 13:38, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
It is true. Judaism and Zionism are incompatible. Please see Zionists Do Not Represent Jews. Zionism was founded by heretics who disbelieved in the Torah. Zionism is a willful violation of the Three Strong Oaths. TruePhilosemite (talk) 13:42, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Yes, you definitely don't belong to any kind of cult. Is your rabbi aware of your internet activities? You should tell them about this behavior. Hipocrite (talk) 13:44, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
My Rabbis are of the Satmar Hasidic dynasty. My hero is Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum, may the memory of the righteous be a blessing, who founded the dynasty. He never ceased in his vocal denunciation of the Zionist cult. It is a shame you are so ignorant of such a great and holy man. You may read of him here. Or Wikipedia, which has Zionist bias, but is a source you might be more willing to accept. TruePhilosemite (talk) 13:50, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────Joel Teitelbaum was a sadistic, misogynistic cult leader, whose followers to this day regularly kiddy-diddle and steal money from the government. May he rot forever. Hipocrite (talk) 13:58, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Joel Teitelbaum zt"l was a true Torah Sage. Have some of his followers done evil? No doubt. But there is no evidence that the Rebbe himself molested anyone. And how many children have been molested by Zionists? TruePhilosemite (talk) 14:04, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
When people in real communities are the victims of molestation, they are supported by the authorities. When your precious Satmar come across a victim, they harass and intimidate them from reporting the abuse, and provide no support to the victims. You know this is true.
Kiryas Joel is the poorest community in the US - at least that's what they report to the welfare agencies. It's a policy endorsed by your precious Satmar, who believe that it's the responsibility of those of us who engage in productive work to support your massive families that you can't feed. Hipocrite (talk) 14:07, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Kiryas Joel is not perfect, neither is the contemporary Satmar movement. But Rebbe Teitelbaum zt"l died over 30 years ago. Pointing out the flaws in the contemporary Satmar movement is not an argument against his righteousness and sagacity — you'd have to demonstrate that he bears personal responsibility for those flaws, and that you have not done. Besides, whatever flaws Satmar may have, it does not negate their basic argument that Zionism and true Judaism are incompatible. These other issues you raise are unrelated to the question of Zionism.
