He appears to be a crank, sadly. See his self-published bible-proving book, the one he's areadly tried to advertise for in an article.
Quote from the last part of the Amazon summary on the book: "Does this mean the entire foundation of both Judaism and Christianity is flawed? In this book, the question is examined, and it is shown that the answer to this mystery actually confirms rather than disproves the Bible account."
Quote from inside his book (press to "Look inside!"): "Perhaps it was curiosity, or perhaps it was the inspiration of God that would lead me down a long track of discovery. There certainly was no compelling logical reason for my actions, and there would appear to be nothing to be gained." I disagree with the first part. I agree with the second.
