Zaid Hamid is a Pakistani security consultant and political commentator. His ideas include the partitioning of Pakistan, opposing the concept of Greater Israel, the concept of a Pakistani Empire according to a hadith, and he is of the opinion that the 2008 attacks in Mumbai were part of an Indian - or "Hindu Zionist"[1], whatever one of those is - plot to start a war with Pakistan, something that sounds vaguely familiar.

Hamid is criticized by his oppenents as a conspiracy theorist. He hosts a television series named Brass Tacks that discusses political issues.
