YouTube has, among its gazillions of posters, a small but rapidly growing set of creationists, pseudoscientists and other cranks. Luckily there are also quite a few "good guys", who refute these cranks and generally have a fun time. It would be remiss of us not to list these people and their individual takes on reality...

Creationists

<sort>

  • Cseministry (channel) - Kent Hovind's ministry (now run by his less than stellar son Eric).
  • GEERUP (channel) - Also an alternative medicator, and heir to the VenomFangX channel.
  • NephilimFree (channel) - a YEC Christian who likes the sound of his own voice, and has posted a large number of videos, all featuring his talking head to camera. He always wears headphones, either for that "finger on the pulse" look, or for going "lalala I can't hear you"? "I hope you find something interesting here", he says. His general creepiness (and his comments about stoning children) have given him the informal nickname of "PedophilimFail."
  • VenomFangX (channel) - Barely sane young man who retired from YouTube, apparently when his mom and dad found out what he was doing with his fundie videos, and his illegal and morally dubious charity drive. He came back shortly before he filed wrongful DMCAs against the lawyer who represented the people who forced him into an apology to the Internet for filing wrongful DMCAs in the first place. He has since had to entirely close his account to avoid a lawsuit.
  • Shockofgod (channel) - Young Earth creationist and best internet friend of Conservapedia's Conservative. Makes videos by pointing his webcam at the computer screen creating hideous aliasing. Has ignored repeated requests and beggings to download Capture Fox.

</sort>

Head-scratching conservatives

  • Steven Crowder (channel) - A conservative "comedian." While his humor can be quite funny at times, some of his videos regarding American history and politics are very bizarre. He has made factually incorrect videos about the origins of the peace symbol and the education system in America, and, as any good Christian should be, he also is against same-sex marriage.

Conspiracy theorists

  • HowTheWorldWorks (channel) - Rabid libertarian, has a bad habit of being monotone when reading from a script (usually when he's staring into the camera). Has been criticized for not only blocking people who have different opinions, but he "allegedly" used sock accounts. Has stated his main goal on YouTube is profit.

"Good" guys

As was noted during Thunderf00t's interview with Richard Dawkins, the number of scientists, "evolutionists" and anti-creationists is steadily growing; and while creationists get new guys like GEERUP - who is probably mentally challenged - the evolution "side" gets some very intelligent and competent people. And you thought the RW Cabal[1] was bad... <sort>

Jerks

In other words, with friends like these... <sort>

  • TheAmazingAtheist [1] - a guy who would fall into the above "'Good' Guy" category, except for the fact that he's a complete jerk who believes that being even moderately courteous or polite to any religious person is a sign of weakness.
  • Pat Condell [2] - One of the most influential Youtube atheists. His videos, while serious in nature, are peppered with bits of humour, unsurprising, since he is a comedian by trade. Unfortunately has thrown his support behind UKIP for the 2010 UK general election, solely on the basis of UKIP's anti-Islam stance, which whilst this in itself is not necessarily bad, one has to overlook UKIP's dreadful record on science policies. Oh and Condell sources a lot of his rants from the Daily Mail and the Telegraph, not exactly an impartial way to promote secularism one might say.
  • Brett Keane - one of the first notable Youtube atheists. However, he has a history of malicious behavior on Youtube, consisting of getting banned for doc-dropping, plagarizing a poem, contradicting himself about beating his wife, and filing false DMCA's against users who are critical of him.
  • Gary(Inmendham/DoNotGod) - An atheist who also would be up with the "good guys." However, he is a block-happy person who seems to never agree with the person he is arguing. Tends to swear and yell at people who don't agree with.
  • FakeSagan - A Youtuber from the early days of Youtube atheism who was notorious for getting into drama after drama. Was flagged off youtube for mirroring a video of Coughlan666's meltdown addressed to The Amazing Atheist, and then reuploading the same video after he served a 2 week suspension. Once cut himself on blogtv for donations.
