RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone seeing this today donates $5, we will meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Bronze brains

Jump to: navigation, search

Since bronze brains are, according to you, "not shit," any problems if I slap a bronze on a few of my "pet" articles like The Great Global Warming Swindle? I think 30+ refs qualifies as "not shit."

Fine by me, I'd even go silver on that one if anyone else agreed.

At least silver. What are our conditions for gold?

Ahh, didn't realize Gold==cover. And now I know.

ThunderkatzHo!23:14, 8 August 2011

When it was started, all the covers became gold and there hasn't been any promotions to gold that didn't go cover at the same time. That said, we haven't done any cool shit like new cover stories for f**king ages. In principle, it doesn't have to be the same thing. So cover stories don't have to be gold and gold doesn't have to be cover, but there is no Category:Gold Articles, it's the cover category. I see no reason to change that unless we, say, double the number of gold/cover articles and want to refine it to add a new level above gold that means "cover". But that's for another time and place, I think, so until then gold=cover.
