Fair use rationale for use in the article Trickle-Down Poison

Even though the media We must require evidence.png is copyrighted and not released under a free license, I, ListenerX, feel it is covered by fair use for at least one of the following reasons:

  • No free alternative exists.
  • The image is of significantly lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of inferior quality).
  • The screenshot contains very little copyrightable material, and illustrates the absence from the World Wide Web of a certain phrase misattributed to a speech by Bernard Russell.
  • The placement in a RationalWiki article is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the original copyrighted media in any way.
  • A free alternative may not exist now, but in the event of a free alternative being located for the article "Trickle-Down Poison" in the future, this file should be deleted as soon as possible.
