Can I please change this to EXTERMINATE? --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistorcan't spell criticism (yes I can!) 15:29, 5 February 2009 (EST)

Yes, let's change bits of the wiki just because one person happens to like science fiction. Let's change it to "banish" because I like Warhammer. Or to some other version of "get rid of" but in terms of someone else's personal fandom. What do you think? Totnesmartin 15:34, 5 February 2009 (EST)
Totnesmartin ftw! No, with sandwiches 15:38, 5 February 2009 (EST)
(EC)Sorry. Bit of a joke. --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistorcan't spell criticism (yes I can!) 15:39, 5 February 2009 (EST)
Do I get experience points for that? Totnesmartin 15:40, 5 February 2009 (EST)
No. You must pwn at least 25 CURs to have any noticeable effect. No, with sandwiches 15:43, 5 February 2009 (EST)
You did not pwn me. No one can pwn me. Except my sock. I argue with it every day. --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistorcan't spell criticism (yes I can!) 15:44, 5 February 2009 (EST)
Which sock? Wisest stupid Hoover! 15:48, 5 February 2009 (EST)
The one on my left foot. --"ConservapediaUndergroundResistorcan't spell criticism (yes I can!) 15:53, 5 February 2009 (EST)
Yet another item on my list... Wisest stupid Hoover! 16:49, 5 February 2009 (EST)

Poe's law (Toast's corollary)[edit]

Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humour, it is impossible to tell if CUR thinks he's being funny or not.

Poe's Law (Toast's second corollary)[edit]

Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to bother about CUR's motives

Keeping with the theme[edit]

I noticed the others: capture/release/relocate/fossil record/observe are all terms that show up in biological sciences, how about euthanise? - User 07:52, 28 March 2009 (EDT)

Oh, that's good, I thought you were going so suggest some iteration of "extinctify". Or "missing link". ħumanUser talk:Human 16:26, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
Now that I think of it missing link would be cool on the hide/show revisions. - User 20:26, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
Any other thoughts (just to get it on the RC menu)? - User 20:15, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
Delete? ToastToastand marmite 20:24, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
If you want to be generic. - User 20:25, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
It gets me every time I look for "History" here. ToastToastand marmite 20:28, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
I see. Can we change edit to further confuse you? - User 20:29, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
Yes, to "mutate". ħumanUser talk:Human 21:52, 28 March 2009 (EDT)
We will give it a try and see if anyone notices. 199.33.173.1 07:11, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
I have noticed. I preferred "vaporize." Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 10:54, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
Any reasons? 199.33.173.1 20:24, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
It's a gas gas gas? ħumanUser talk:Human 20:47, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
Euthanise just seemed so appropriate for an article I deleted last night, it need to be put down genteelly. - User 22:29, 7 April 2009 (EDT)

Memory hole? The EmperorKneel before Zod! 20:50, 7 April 2009 (EDT)

That's why I !vote for "euthanize" - as long as we spel it corectlie! ħumanUser talk:Human 22:53, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
I just used the ise because that is spelling of vaporise at the time. - User 22:55, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
According to my dictionary the correct term is euthanase. - User 22:59, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
I object to having the name of such a dishonorable and despicable act deface the edit-tabs of this Wiki in that manner. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 23:07, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
I had my dog euthanised a few weeks ago because it could no longer walk, it made me cry but I wouldn't call it dishonourable. - User 23:10, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
Euthanasia is one of the more supreme forms of hypocrisy, in that it makes the pretense of helping when it actually wreaks the ultimate amount of harm. If you have not the fortitude to blow someone's brains out with a 12-gauge you have lodged in his mouth, without a second thought, do not speak of the righteousness of euthanizing him, for the effect upon him is the same. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 23:23, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
I like the "If you have not" and the "do not speak of the righteousness" stuff, very biblical. If you want to continue this discussion else where I will comment on a debate page.
So I take it we have; 2 euthanise or some derivative of that, 1 vaporise and 1 memory-hole. We don't seem to have a consensus yet. - User 23:36, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
Well looking over at technical support vaporise seemed popular so vaporise it looks like it shall remain unless we can get more comments. - User 23:45, 7 April 2009 (EDT)
I change my !vote to MURDER. ħumanUser talk:Human 00:04, 8 April 2009 (EDT)
