RationalWiki talk:Articles for deletion/My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (2nd nomination)
Just making sure: are BoNs like 70.61.121.86 and 98.27.29.192 even allowed to vote? It's not a policy vote but they are BoNs and they both have less than 75 edits. 70.61.121.86's vote was already struck out but should 98.27.29.192's as well (and don't give me this "partisan" shit Weaseloid)?—Ryulong (talk) 00:58, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- To repeat what I've said on Weaseloid's talk page: RationalWiki:Community_Standards#Voting (which you linked on the BoN's talk page) refers to "policy votes, which seek to change the Community Standards or similar official policy documents, or penalty votes, which seek to penalize (or change existing penalties for) a user", not AfD votes. To be best of my knowledge, no one ever formulated any "minimal requirements" for an AfD vote. If you want to change it, bring it up in the saloon. Carpetsmoker (talk) 01:19, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- Wouldn't AFD be considered a policy vote or something?—Ryulong (talk) 01:34, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- No. ЩєазєюіδMethinks it is a Weasel 01:35, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- Why?—Ryulong (talk) 01:36, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- Because an article about My Little Pony is not an official policy document similar to the Community Standards. WėąṣėḷőįďMethinks it is a Weasel 01:40, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- Why?—Ryulong (talk) 01:36, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- Can I put an arrow that wraps back up to you saying it isn't (until you found out that would be necessary to justify people's exclusion)? WalkerWalkerWalker 01:43, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

How about making it a fun page?[edit]
(I haven't seen 5 seconds of it.)

- This might be a good compromise... Not sure why I didn't think of that before. Carpetsmoker (talk) 20:24, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
- Making it 'fun' would involve deleting or rewriting about 90% of the current content, which really isn't a compromise. The only thing about it that looks funspacey is that stupid Robot Chicken embed, which should definitely be removed if it does stay in mainspace. - But it's funny! Carpetsmoker (talk) 20:45, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Weaseloid, I think I mentioned a few years back that most of the "fun" pages here really weren't. Because I know and care little of the subject, I admittedly post with great ignorance, but given that there is apparantly a lot of edit conflicts over nothing—in my veiw—that in itself might have an element of fun.Talk to Civic Cat 20:49, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
