Mission?[edit]

I don't think non-critical articles on relatively obscure Marxist thinkers is part of our raison d'etre. PowderSmokeAndLeather: Say something once, why say it again?.Moderator 16:35, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Bernstein is not an "obscure" Marxist thinker, that is a highly ignorant statement, he is the founder of what is now known as social democracy and he was considered the heir apparent of Marx and Engels after they died but instead he strongly criticized their views. In terms of addressing disinformation as mentioned above, the man is a counter-example to the right-wing conspiracy theory nuts' (a.k.a. Glenn Beck's) view that all socialist thought will converge with communism and totalitarianism. Bernstein diverged from communism and emphasized parliamentary reform and opposed class conflict. — Unsigned, by: 184.145.75.33 / talk / contribs

Again, this is not an encyclopedia. Not every political thinker that ever lived deserves an article here. Go and start your own history of politics wiki if you like. Spud (talk) 07:10, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
