RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Talk:Million-dollar challenge

From RationalWiki
Jump to: navigation, search

First, "million-dollar challenge" is a really generic title. Second, shouldn't this be just a redirect to James Randi? Third, should there be even a redirect in the first place, given that it was a red link in Sally Morgan, in text that already linked to James Randi? ("On Halloween of 2011 she was challenged to take part in James Randi's million-dollar challenge[6] by the Merseyside Skeptics Society.")--ZooGuard (talk) 15:58, 14 November 2013 (UTC)

To take your questions in order:
  • (1.)The "Million-dollar challenge" is famous in skeptic circles. Linking to this when people come up with weird ideas would be useful. It is referenced multiple times in this wiki alone.
  • (2.)No.
  • (3.)See (1).--Coffee (talk) 16:32, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
