Thanks Trashbat, I wasn't sure of the etiquette on this. But t was nice to get some attention from the (bow down before his awsomeness) great Bohdan 12:36, 20 July 2007 (CDT) ps can you tell (show) me how to put this into category 'politics'? RojerB-KtF! 12:36, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

Hehehe, always nice to get an article vandalised! To add a category, simple copy and paste the appropriate category tag into the bottom of the article. I'll add the politics one so you can see what needs to be added... prettydilettantelies 12:39, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

Thanx RojerB-KtF! 12:43, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

  • This is an uncited essay. It belongs in a different namespace. Resident vandal 13:00, 20 July 2007 (CDT)
I feel sure, Bohdan, that, if you continue to raise the poinT loudly enough, there will be examples (citations) aplenty appearing.
You can't disagree with Black & Murdoch surely!
RojerB-KtF! 13:13, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

This doesn't make any sense at all. It also needs more goat. --AKjeldsenGodspeed! 16:51, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

Please feel free (with the goat)

RojerB-KtF! 16:55, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

ps; It was really intended for me to have a crow about Conrad Black's GUILTY VERDICT. Whee! (Schadenfreude) RojerB-KtF! 17:08, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

Unn[edit]

why is it that left wingers can use ann coulter like tactics, yet they complain about ann coulter? HeartGoldShow me your intolerance 22:37, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

I have no wings. Who Ann Coulter? Note polite capitalisation of name! Feel free to start 'Left Wing Bastards'. Keepgoats 23:03, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

Ann C seems to be mildly famous on the other side of the pond. She seems to be a little bit right wing.--Bob_M (talk) 11:16, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

How many left-wingers are there that regularly call for genocide? (And please don't start about abortion here.) MiddleMan 12:10, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

Dibs on Margaret Sanger! --Kels 14:22, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

Sorry, but on the 'No True Scotsman' principle Joe wasn't Left Wing. (He professed communism but was an out and out fascist - that's why communism doesn't work - power corrupts) Keepthe faith 14:37, 21 July 2007 (CDT)
Eh, the left-right scale is so last millennium anyway. --AKjeldsenGodspeed! 14:47, 21 July 2007 (CDT)
NO big argument there--as the great philosopher Joe Bob Briggs once said, "It's not liberals on one side and conservatives on the other. It's liberals and conservatives on one side, and EVERYBODY ELSE on the other." I think he was talking about politicians specifically, though... --Gulik 14:55, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

Original Title[edit]

My original (provisional) title for this was "Right Wing Fascist Bastards". That would have really riled HG. Keepyour head 12:02, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

Nice title, and accurate as well. MiddleMan 12:09, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

Nice, um, trolling. While I object to Ann Coulter being moved to essay (it can be footnoted and fact-tagged until then), I would not object to this one being moved. The title takes a POV that is not (yet?) balanced. If the same auther were to start a reasonably well written Left Wing Bastards, I would become neutral on them being moved. As far as including people or groups, each one should show 1. why they are considered right (or left) wing, and why they are or were bastids. Otherwise it's just a hit list of one person's opinion. And "clergy"? Come on... humanbe in 13:07, 21 July 2007 (CDT)
What riles me is not your opinions, but you trying to pass them off in the article space. Actually, it should rile you too. But if you just want to preach to the choir, keep up the antics. HeartGoldShow me your intolerance 15:37, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

awww![edit]

Yes - it is one person's opinion: but it's right. Go on then - move it if you want. (sulks) Keepthe faith 13:25, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

Not moving, I created LWB to balance it, and it's off to a good start. Please add the link to the opinion so it can stay, or edit it out cleanly. humanbe in 13:28, 21 July 2007 (CDT) What I struck out was me confusing this article with Robert_Maxwell. Please ignore. humanbe in 14:19, 21 July 2007 (CDT)

King David[edit]

I'm not sure what makes King David right wing. It seems to be stretching a point, & I think it detracts from the rest of the list. Unless there's any strong objection, I'll remove David. Weaseloid 08:11, 12 August 2008 (EDT)

Super-Biased[edit]

This entire Wiki is super-biased towards lefty Progressivism, even more so than regular WikiPedia. Conservepedia is pretty inane (especially when it comes to hard sciences and biology), but the blatant political wonkery on this website is, if anything, worse. — Unsigned, by: 71.59.231.26 / talk / contribs

Have you read Left wing bastards? Also, we aren't an encyclopedia. ħumanUser talk:Human 05:17, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Isambard Kingdom Brunel[edit]

All I have got about Brunel is that he was voted the second greatest Briton of all time and designed many bridges that are still in use today, as well as portable field hospitals. What makes him specifically a right-winger, let alone a bastard? Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:38, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Still looking for that. WP doesn't bother with his politics. The 1st greatestest Briton was, of course, right wing bastard Winston Churchill. ħumanUser talk:Human 05:40, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
How you can keep a straight face when saying that is beyond me, but if we are going to call such a well-regarded figure a bastard, we might want to be able to back it up. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 05:52, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
I put him back because he is a real person. Now we need a reason to keep him. I wonder who added him and if they are still around? ħumanUser talk:Human 05:54, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Churchill was a bit of a bastard... Dalek (talk) 05:57, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Can't find anything political on Brunel, though. Just that he was a bit of a phenomenal engineer. His story has probably been whitewashed ;) Lol, 2nd or third page on Google led to CP:IKB, in which I recognize cribbed sections from WP... but we should remove him for now. ħumanUser talk:Human 06:05, 21 October 2010 (UTC)

Fungi[edit]

I think this shoul probably be funspaced. The article on left-wing bastards is there, and I can't really imagine anyone reading this for anything other than cheap giggles... Balaam (talk) 16:42, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Done. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 19:20, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Genghis Khan[edit]

There is a phrase 'to the right of Genghis Khan' - would his self-proclaimed reincarnation be so-defined and qualify for this list? Anna Livia (talk) 12:13, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
