RationalWiki's 2018 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff — we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone seeing this today donates $5, we will meet our goal for 2018.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

The April and Wayne Show is a batshit insane YouTube channel[1] run by Christian couple April and Wayne. The channel is quite possibly the best example of crank magnetism possible[citation NOT needed] and thus it is nearly impossible to watch one of their videos without at least feeling mentally disturbed. The crankery might even rub onto you a bit, so don't stay for too long! Their videos are removed pretty often, which leads to claims of persecution of Christians, though they always reupload said videos. Some even come with an extra saying something like "Jesus has once again won the battle/answered our prayers!"

Crank magnetism[edit]

Whoo boy... Exorcism, Near death experiences, The Illuminati, Satanism in the media, visions, encounters with demons, End times hysteria, demons coming to visit to talk about Hell, Illuminati whistleblowers, faith healing, the list goes on... It's a wonder this couple sleeps at night. Better yet, assuming they're lying their asses off and don't actually believe anything they're saying, though we may never know, it's an even bigger wonder their followers are able to sleep at night, or better yet, leave their houses.

They also have the most generic names for their videos ever[2]
