LQT sigs

Fragment of a discussion from User talk:Nx

Another issue. I've just realised that I have no idea who's talk page I'm on because I'm using the "new messages" thing. It says it on the left (and I know now), but is there a way of making it more obvious and intuitively clear?

Hey guys, while I'm all for talking about the new liquid threads and peoples' real complaints about them, could we take this techie discussion off my talkpage? Thank you.

Hence my comment above ;) I thought we were on mine, and then on Nx's for a moment!

And now we are on mine!

So, another question I have for you Nx: will Pibot continue to archive my LQT talkpage threads the way it is currently set up, or will I have to change some things and/or archive posts myself?

No, Pibot doesn't work with lqt, but it doesn't have to. Liquidthreads has automatic pagination, so there's no need to archive anything.

Paginiation, you say? But will my talkpage wind up a billion posts long then? For me, it's more about having a short, concise talkpage than about the size of the page itself.

Well, that depends on the size of the threads on it (though you can split them if you want). I don't know off the top of my head how many threads lqt keeps on one page. I'm trying to fix a bug now, but once I'm done with that I'll get back to you.

It should always look pretty short and sweet because you'll have the contents at the top. I'm sure it can be altered by the settings.
