Pics of the day - Feb 11, 2011: Discussion Groups at Conservapedia

Discussiongroups.png
Conservapedia used various discussion groups for its sysops to discuss and coordinate their actions: firstly, the Special Discussion Group and its successor, the Zeuglodon Blues - and after this, the Conservapedia Group. Typical for Conservapedia, there was even a clandestine group for the self-styled senior sysops (Fab Five).

Here you find the number of threads started in these various groups as they can be found in the leaks to the internet. Unfortunately, a great part of the files of the Zeuglodon Blues and the Conservapedia Group are still not public - I would love follow the meta-discussions of my favorite editor at Conservapedia, cp:User:ClementB (remember cp:Talk:World History Homework Eleven - Model or cp:Talk:World History Lecture Eleven?). Or of my own contributions as cp:User:RonLar (cleverly found out to be Larron backwards by TK, and therefore a sock cp:User:DiEb - not much a surprise to Andy, as I had informed him about the creation of this account in my emails to Andy as for the purpose to discuss the Conservapedia:Best New Conservative Words.)

Back on track: The activity in these groups correlates with the general activity on Conservapedia as can be seen in this chart of edits per month at Conservapedia. Most threads started by Andy in the Conservapedia Group discuss the ongoing success of Conservapedia in numbers of page-views and rankings. This trend doesn't show in the number of edits - even if Andy were right, becoming a well-known laughing stock of the internet instead of being just an obscure source for ridicule wouldn't get you encyclopedic edits...
