RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Pics of the day - Feb 12, 2011: Ken & Co. during the day

Jump to: navigation, search
The following pics show the distribution of all not-oversighted actions at Conservapedia during the day in percentage per hour. Such pics can divided into two groups: Those with a clear day-night pattern...

... and those where such a pattern is not that clear. There are a couple of explanations for such a seemingly erratic behavior:
  • editing from different time-zones, e.g., the editor is traveling much, or has moved
  • working in shifts
  • troubles with sleeping - we now know that TK was quite ill over the last years, so it isn't surprising that he posted every couple of hours.

The diagrams for the editors of Conservapedia could rely on ten-thousands of data points, but similar patterns can be drawn with a couple of hundred contributions, too. The same patterns will emerge...
