Attack pages allowed?

I've replied to you on my talk page but though I should reply here. That's simply an attack page. On Wikipedia we have strict policies on biographies, anything contentious, praise or criticism, with no reliable sources can be and should be deleted. You even reverted some clarification. Is that page an example of the standard allowed here? I'm really confused. Why replace all the attacks without any discussion? Wouldn't it be more sensible to discuss what should be changed? On Wikipedia, your action would be seen as endorsing the content. I don't know you, perhaps you think the article is appropriate as it stands. Ah, yellow message, ok, thanks very much, but wouldn't it be fairer to me to go back to my version and discuss what is either wrong with the text in my version and /or what should be replaced that I removed? Yes, I know about conflict of interest, but I had hoped your policies weren't that different from ours about attack pages.

We don't overtly allow attack pages, but we do allow for a different standard of article than Wikipedia does. Personally, I have no vested interest in the article as of yet, but I'm sure others do. If you want to go back to your version, so be it. I just offer no assurances against others reverting you. Which is why I am pushing the talkpage discussion route.

And while we don't generally have a rule on sourcing things, I would add that if you wish to source your points in the article, that may actually help your case better.

Thanks. Really very much appreciated. I don't mind people seeing nonsense about me on kook sites, that's par for the course, but this was a bit embarrassing and could have been fodder to use against me. Interesting, my talk page has attracted an IP attacking me, Par for the course I guess.

Trolling IPs are always par for the course around this place. Sorry about all that huff and confusion yesterday.

Dynamiclear were relatively reasonable, too. Can't think of many others.

Yeah, usually they are like Ramanand Jhingade and pull the legal threats out instantly upon arrival.
