There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. |

I'm sure you have had this advice, and far better, but my husband took a desk job, and found that taking a "smoker's break" of 5-7 minutes each hour, and running or other hard exercise got his body tired enough to shut up his mind for the next 50 odd minutes. hope you find something that works for you!

Pretty much what I've been told. I'm no longer a smoker, but I was told that just getting up and running to the water cooler every now and again is just the ticket sometimes.
