"Baldur's Gate"[edit]
Is that "Baldur" as in Baldr, the god who was killed by a mistletoe arrow? ListenerXTalkerX 07:33, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
- I believe the writers of the settings for D&D used numerous names from various mythologies, as well as making up their own. For example, one of the major demons is called Demogorgon, from the Biblical deity.--

Hmmm[edit]
I have this somewhere but never really got around to it. I think I might go dig it up and waste my afternoon on it. theist 12:27, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
- If you discover you like it, you will waste more than one afternoon. The games comprise hundreds of playable hours, even if you only go through once.--
