RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

User talk:Samurai/Sig

Don't use that! It'll dump five lines of code into the page, and annoy everyone, and you won't be able to alter it easily. Add "<noinclude></noinclude>" around the content in your user page, then add "<includeonly>{{User:Samurai/sig}}</noinclude>" to the bottom of the page, then add "{{User:Samurai}}" in the "nickname" field in Special:Preferences and tick the "Raw signatures" box, and when you type "~~~~" the resulting code will be "{{User:Samurai/sig}}". Hm, that's an interesting way to do it. Might be simpler to just use {{User:Samurai/sig0}} --  Nx/talk  07:59, 7 March 2009 (EST)
I find this way tidier, but I only came up with it after using the sig0 trick myself. Harmonic word Phantom Hoover! 08:01, 7 March 2009 (EST)
Indeed it is, since you only leave {{Username}}, but if you accidentally screw up the noinclude tags while editing your userpage... --  Nx/talk  08:06, 7 March 2009 (EST)
Actually, the method described above would leave "{{User:Username/sig}}", and if you screw up the noinclude tags you can clean it up fairly quickly. Harmonic word Phantom Hoover! 08:11, 7 March 2009 (EST)
