Nosort

Somehow, the last line of the table at "Editors at RW" should be prevented from being sorted ... But I couldn't make it work, now. I'll have to look into it tomorrow. Sorry. --LArron 18:27, 24 October 2008 (EDT)

Sysopery

I was power-tripping most innocuously today, when I accidentally seem to have demoted you. Oh dear... I hope you don't mind being a janitor. Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 21:30, 26 October 2008 (EDT)

Please UNsysop me. Or I shall be obliged to quit. CaycePattern 22:05, 26 October 2008 (EDT)

Done. Why didn't you want to be sysoped? Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 22:38, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
Why should I be, or want to be, "sysoped"? (with authority comes responsibility & I don't want that, not here) CaycePattern 22:51, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
On this site, "sysopery" comes with no "authority", so don't worry about the ensuing "responsibility". It just means you are trusted and welcomed. Please to join in the fun and block a few other sysops to whet your blade. We don't block vandals, so, relatively speaking, you are now recognized as an "Editor" and opposed to an "editor". Or vice versa. That's why we call it demotion. We are an anti-authoritarian site, after all. ħumanUser talk:Human 23:04, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
I have no desire to be recognized and none to join in any any 'fun' thank you. CaycePattern 23:18, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
Um, as someone said elsewhere, RW has sysops where other wikis have editors and bureaucrats where they have sysops. You are completely fre to ignore the demotion. Also, if you didn't want "to join in any 'fun'",.... really, I have no nice rejoinder there. You don't want to have fun? Really? ħumanUser talk:Human 23:52, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
Methinks Cayce wants to be a sourpuss? Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 01:09, 27 October 2008 (EDT)
The "fun" at RationalWiki appears to consist of the most amusing blocking of each other and the satirizing of Conservapedia ("shooting", "fish" and "barrel" come to mind). I find fun elsewhere, thank you. CaycePattern 01:21, 27 October 2008 (EDT)
My goodness, you are a sourpuss! Star of David.png Radioactive afikomen Please ignore all my awful pre-2014 comments. 01:26, 27 October 2008 (EDT)
We also get our "fun" by finding crackpot sources that align with our "mission" and mocking them. And, yes, we also enjoy randomly blocking each other and shooting Schlaflishes in barrels. ħumanUser talk:Human 01:43, 27 October 2008 (EDT)

RA, it is site policy to sysop any trusted (or barely so) editor. Cayce's issues were truly more complex than a simple set of buttons. Think about it... what obligations do the mop and bucket here really impose? Oooh, "and now they're gone". Shit, your really think that was why? Maybe they just got bored of us anyway? ħumanUser talk:Human 02:41, 27 October 2008 (EDT)
