FlyingSaucer001a.jpg(360 × 229 pixels, file size: 15 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Summary[edit]

Artist's impression of a Flying Saucer, circa 1957. Based on eyewitness accounts, this image was in NO WAY influenced by Ray Harryhausen's sci-fi classic of the previous year, and the depiction of a cloud-covered Earth below proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the witnesses must have viewed the planet from an altitude of at least 2000 kilometers. Please note that the streak of light rising from the center of the disk DOES NOT represent a suspension cable, as flying saucers are well known to employ both anti-gravity and magnetic repulsion technology.
